By Dale Hurd CBN News Sr. Reporter While the idea of Muslims taking over Rome as prophesied by the Prophet Mohammed may seem far-fetched, the historically Christian capital of Italy is now the site of the largest mosque in Europe. Moschea di Roma, or the Great Mosque of Rome, is able to accommodate 12,000 worshippers and is a powerful symbol for Italy's fast-growing Muslim population. Large mosques have been built or are on the drawing board in virtually every major city in Europe. The skyline of Cologne, Germany, has been dominated for centuries by its famous cathedral, the largest Gothic church in northern Europe. But soon the church will share the skyline with the 150-foot tall minarets of the Cologne mosque, now under construction. The Muslim worship facility, which is being funded by the government of Turkey, is opposed by groups who see it as a piece of Turkish territory in the heart of Germany. "This mosque is a symbol of political power. It's a symbol of Islamization in the center of Europe, and especially this mosque in Cologne-Ehrenfeld," Pro-K�ln organizer Manfred Rouhs told CBN News. In fact, many of the large mosque projects in Europe are funded by the Turkish government. Some are being financed by the Saudis, and some, like the one planned for Copenhagen, are being built with money from Iran's Revolutionary Guard. "It's not really a mosque," Danish Muslim expert Lars Hedegaard said of the Copenhagen mosque."It's more like a barracks. It's going to be an institution that will terrorize not only Danes but also non obedient Iranians." In London, a plan to build the largest mosque in Europe ran into strong public opposition and has been downsized. But in Cologne and other cities, the left-wing has shown itself to be very pro-Mosque and sometimes demonstrates violently against mosque opponents. The Great Mosque of Rome and the growing number of giant mosques across Europe are changing not only the physical landscape, but some say they are likely to change the political landscape, as well.

Reading some of the "right-wing" press; turning the whole of Europe into an Islamic continent maybe becoming reality.

is in grave danger of disappearing in twenty years. As the predominating age of churchgoers is around sixty ,

with only a very small increase in younger members, the church may be entirely defunct in twenty years.

It may well be that Britain could be an Islamic country in thirty years, if current trends continue.

The murder of Osama bin-Laden

Now we have it.

The American military can just drop into someone else's country and murder unarmed alleged "terrorists".

In the UK, but I don't know about the good old U S of A which still in the 21st century regularly legally murders its criminals, we have a good legal system which states that anyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Of course, if you are of the country called "Israel" which stole its land from the Arabs and murdered dozens of British soldiers trying to keep the peace, then regularly bumping-off supposed enemies is a routine process, and well worth copying by Yanks, who also think that the rules of civilised existence don't apply.

Do not bother arresting an alleged criminal and place him in front of a judge and jury; just send in the psychopathic thugs of which America is famous (having wiped-out 100,000 civilians in Iraq)

Let them do their dirty work watched by a cold president who enjoyed seeing someone murdered in front of his own eyes.

He was obviously so pleased with himself, having to face an election in a year or so.

So what else do we see around the world after the announcement that a human-being's life had been ended?

So called "patriots" jumping up and down waving their blood-soaked little flags: "USA USA". Yes we know.

There is no evidence that Osama bin-Laden was anything but a mouthy asshole. His 'powers' were not as he would have liked, certainly not in recent years anyway.

What evidence is there that he "Masterminded" the 9/11 attacks? None, in fact he denied it quite soon after the attacks happened, but we know that the Taliban and certainly al-Qaeda often "own-up" to atrocities which they had nothing to do with: it's just bravado my friends. "al-Qaeda" as such does not exist. It is an invention of the Bush government, and it is not a wholesale organisation, it is a loose load of groups with the same ideology, but not subject to one person's rule.

Half the stuff you heard about old OBL is bollocks; he was a patsy, probably to cover up the dastardly doings of the American governments over the last few years.

Cheer not about his death.

Is it just me, or does it look totally bizarre to see two men on TV., talking of their Baby?

It seems that if you are a tinpot billionaire singer with false hair "Married" to another bloke, that you can do as you like.

It seems that if you have the money, you are able to pay a woman to have a baby, but only if a well-known figure, and you do not live in the UK where (I believe) paying for a baby is still illegal.

Surely, raising a child is natural if it is a Husband and (female) wife doing that, not two men?

Has the world gone politically-correct MAD?
